The texts sharply target our society: where people are marginalized, where money is above dignity and loud talk is more important than real attitude. At the same time, the album remains personal – there are doubts, anger, defiance and the will not to be belittled.
Another important part is the Nordic themes. In songs like „Godsmiths“ it becomes clear how myths of gods, blacksmith fires and old images are linked to today's struggles. Here the Nordic world is not used as decoration, but as a mirror for our time.
